The reserved block of rooms for the AFOMS conference has been closed. You may still be able to obtain rooms from Orleans, however it will be on a space available basis, and may not be at the regular perdiem rate. You should contact them first. If they do not have rooms available, there are some other hotel options listed below.

In the immediate area around The Orleans:

Emerald Suites. Located directly across the street on the west side of the hotel on Cameron St. They are approximately $69.00 a night for a one bedroom with a kitchenette. 702-365-5500. 4777 Cameron St.

There is another Emerald Suites that is approximately 1.5 Blocks east of The Orleans on Tropicana. They are approximately $59.00 for a room. 702-889-1700. 4205 West Tropicana.

There are three different Budget Suites on Tropicana between I-15 and The Orleans. I have only provided information for the one closest.

It is approximately 1 Block east of The Orleans. Phone is 702-889-1700. 4205 W. Tropicana. They are listed as the #3 LV property on their web page. 1 Bedroom suite is $239 weekly.

There is a La Quinta that is 2 blocks east of The Orleans on Tropicana. The address is listed as 4975 South Valley View Blvd. Phone is 702-798-7739 Rates are from $89.00 a night. This is the government rate.

Most of these aren't in too bad of an area. The best would probably be the Emerald Suites that is directly across the street from the Orleans on the West side.
