Are you turning in Meds that are expired for credit? After you've collected all those meds, and gotten them in a box, you may need to print out or write a list of the drugs you are turning in, as well the actual expiration dates or even lot numbers. This is especially true if you are working with an MTF to trade soon to expire drugs with ones with a longer expiration date.

Here's a neat trick you can use to generate these lists. This trick assumes that you have the drugs already entered in SAMS.

Create a Location with a name you can associate with this turn in (i.e. Turn in, expired meds, etc.). You then "move" the expired or expiring drugs from the location they are in to the location you created above.

Once they are in that location, you can print an Inventory by location report which will give you the list of drugs you wish to trade or turn in. Once they are turned in, you'll have a list to go into SAMS and adjust the inventories.
