Below information pertains to Navy personnel. Funding information for other services will be posted as received. Funding is available through NAVMED MPT&E for Navy IDCs assigned to non BSO 18 Commands. IDC attendees assigned to BSO 18 (Hospitals, Clinics, etc.) must utilize their command as a source of funding. Utilize the information contained in BUMEDINST 5050.6, enclosure (3) for Joint Armed Forces Operational Medical Symposium (AFOMS) funding request. Documents can be mailed, faxed or sent via E-mail in PDF format to the points of contact listed below. Forwarded endorsement from the Commanding Officer or Officer in Charge is required and needs to include:

• Command full mailing address and UIC.
• Command message PLAD
• POC name, E-mail address, telephone and fax number (commercial and DSN)

Nominated request with endorsement must be received by NAVMED MPT&E not later than 01 May 2009. Endorsement must be on command letterhead and each applicant must have a separate request.
