Medical/Dental Training Specialist

Duties:

CACI has an immediate opening for a Medical/Dental Training Specialist supporting training requirements of medical applications at DoD Activities worldwide. Under limited supervision, the Medical/Dental Training Specialist will be providing VTC, classroom and over-the-shoulder training to medical applications users and administrators. Will be responsible for providing training as established in the Annual Training Plan. Responsibilities include contacting low usage commands, ascertaining training needs and arranging for site visits. Will develop and maintain training materials.

Required Qualifications:

Must have current or be eligible for a DoD SECRET Security Clearance before starting work.

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and two to four years of related experience. Must have at least two (preferably three) years in a technical position with increasing responsibilities supporting computer systems, operation, administration, training and maintenance. Must also have a professional or military training background.

The ideal candidate would be a former DoD (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or DoD Agency) Instructor with experience in CHCS CACHE (TC2). The ideal candidate will also have experience in SAMS, CHCS, AHLTA, TMIP, DENCAS. Ideally, the candidate will have significant exposure to TMIP.   Must have a successful background in presenting new technologies, products, concepts and ideas to military/government audiences.

Must be able to speak clearly and concisely with an above average professional and technical vocabulary. This "customer-facing" position requires a professional appearance at all times. Must be available for extensive US and some worldwide travel. Must obtain or possess US Passport.

Required Hardware:

Personal computer, audio/visual systems and other technologies related to presentations.

Required Software:

MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

An Independent Duty Corpsmen with the Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP) is an ideal candidate.

Additional experience as a Master Training Specialist or IT certifications such as MCT, MCP, MCSA, or MCSE are also highly desired.

Experience with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems methodologies would also be helpful.
