New Mexico Military Corpsman/Medic Licensure Now Possible!!!

Joanna Giglio, RN, MSN, New Mexico Board of Nursing Assistant Director is the POC for this measure. Her phone # is 505-841-9083. Mrs. Giglio will evaluate Military Corpsman/Medics transcripts to determine qualification for licensure at this point. Please keep your evaluation.

A task-force has been created to identify the education gaps and create online courses which will satisfy these gaps. We will be working this measure so that other states will endorse our licensure.

The evalution fee is $50.00.

NO LICENSURE FOR

NO LICENSURE FOR YOU!!!

Assistant Director Joanna Giglio, RN, MSN, (a military nurse herself) was the only one at the New Mexico Board of Nursing who was evaluating AND APPROVING Military Corpsman/Medics for licensure.

Unfortunately, Joanna was driven out from the Board by Allison Kozeliski, Executive Director, after it was discovered that Ms. Kozeliski purchased two “life experience” diplomas (Master Health Administration and MBA), at $500 a piece, from a diploma mill in Idaho.

Ms. Kozeliski did not like the fact that Joanna was doing the evaluations, but she is a crony of the Governor Richardson, and the Board members are so afraid of the Governor, that that instead of firing her they would rather look the other way.

All this means is that your real life/combat experience is not worthy of another look, and Executive Directors “life experience” and fake diplomas are what counts in the eyes of the New Mexico Board of Nursing and the Governor Richardson.

So, no more task force and no more licensure for you.

The next public meeting of the Board is on February 13-15, 2008. You can go there and ask the Board to account for the double standard.
