Saint Francis University (SFU) will be attending the 2009 IDC/IDMT Armed Forces Operational Medicine Symposium in New Orleans June 15-19, 2009. Representatives from the Bachelor of Science in Health Science (BSHS) degree program will be available to discuss undergraduate educational opportunities for the degree. Students can meet with University representatives to review their academic and military credits and receive individualized academic degree plans for the SFU BSHS program. Information on the BSHS program can be found at www.francis.edu/BSHS
The Program Director for the online Masters Physician Assistant Science (MPAS) Program will also be at the conference to discuss the developing program. An update on the progress of the program will be provided during a scheduled presentation. The Program Director will be available to meet with students individually to discuss admission requirements and provide recommendations for students to prepare for eligibility.
In order for University representatives to provide recommendation in relation to academic programs and coursework, interested students must have copies of their SMART transcript and other academic transcripts available. Students can make appointments to have this completed throughout the conference by directly speaking with the representatives after the presentation, throughout the conference or at the exhibit table.
