Great Job Opportunity for IDC's who want to retire in California
I am a recently retired IDC and was hired by Aegis Medical Systems to manage one of their 26 Narcotic treatment clinics in California. The owner had been having a difficult time finding qualified managers for his clinics. When he found out what my background as an IDC consisted of, he became convinced that IDC's are the solution to his clinic manager problem. I feel that this is a great opportunity for fellow retired IDC’s, and the position allows us to take advantage of both our management skills and clinical background in the civilian sector. The employer is well aware of our experience and unique abilities, and is willing to compensate us accordingly. I have a friend (a retired HMC) that has worked as a clinic manager for this company for over a year and he really enjoys working there and highly recommends it.
I’ve accepted the clinic manager position one of their Ventura County clinics, because of the challenges, professional growth and compensation that it offers. I also found that the culture of the organization is quite similar to my previous working environment. The company also has openings throughout the state of California, including Oxnard, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Pomona, Ontario, Pasadena, Los Angeles, Bakersfield and Merced.
I’ll be happy to discuss the company and the available position with others who are looking for better job opportunities in California, especially those who prefer management over nursing. I can be contacted via email at mlm0267 [at] yahoo [dot] com or phone at (805) 216-3400.
