Aloha from VA,

HMCS(DV/FPJ) Brenden McMullen 8403 from Quantico here. I'm on terminal leave and just started my new job as a govt contractor at Dahlgren. Need that double pay for the new house!

Congrats to our new HMC's - good on you.

If anyone is prepping for retirement, I have some VERY recent experience in the transition and will be glad to share. I look fwd to meeting you all.

Brenden

Congrats man!

That should be a nice place to retire. Close enough to DC without being in the mess ;)

Senior,
I just picked up Hm2, 4yrs active duty, and I have been wanting to be a recon 8427 since i switched to the "green-side". I'm in iraq right now, but i have recently been researching becoming a 8403, i think that would better myself in the long run. I want to be a PA for a carreer after the navy but i really need to get the motto stuff out of the way first. I was wondering if you knew if during the pipeline once i got to 18d if i would be able to just do the long course instead of the short one since i am an E5? Or if you could refer me to someone who might know. Thanks in advance. V/R Hm2 Gumm
